In his usual humor and earnestness, Rosli demonstrated how to use compose music using the 3 Ms: motives, moods and modes in a workshop conducted by PerWaniT at Whampoa Community Club on 17 July 2010.
Armed with his specially hand-painted electric guitar, his laptop, and other sound equipment, and assisted by Khairil Yamin, Rosli incorporated humor and real-life examples to the attentive audience, and he ended the workshop with the song “Venice”.
Here are some behind-the-scenes during the setup as well as some interesting snippets of the workshop. The video can’t tell very much on the inner workings that goes on in Rosli’s mind but if you have questions about song writing, feel free to ask Rosli! (Do you have him on Facebook?
