The blues was upon blues/rock pub Crazy Elephant on 24 July 2010 when Rosli Mansor performed this song to a full house.
Crazy Elephant was filled with the sounds of a guitar wailing and weeping in passionate throes, but the people who packed the venue were strangely silent. The people who were there were clearly engrossed and drawn into the sheer emotion of the song, in which Rosli conveyed his deepest thoughts and feelings to his late father.
The full house was just hanging on to every note of “Sorry I’m Late” that Rosli played, and the audience broke out in whoops and cheers (and screams from the girls!) after a particularly heartfelt bit, and at the end of the whole song.
