Retro, Reggae and Surf

It is very difficult not to sway to the groove of the music coming from the 2 songs in this video.

Rosli played 2 very infectious songs, “Mocking Monsters” and “Towmy’s Secret” during his performance at Crazy Elephant. The songs itself already have its own groove, especially the retro-licious “Mocking Monsters”. But the cream of the crop was the groovy improv that Rosli broke into during “Towmy’s Secret”, bringing the audience to a different realm than that of the original song, and giving us the all so rare glimpse of the different sides to Rosli.

So while watching the video, why not try to close your eyes and just allow yourself to groove to the music? And at the same time, listen closely to what the songs have to say, the stories behind them?
