We know Rosli’s deft with the guitar but he first surprised us when he started belting out deep and heartfelt renditions of blues songs. In all his earnestness, he gave us the best of both worlds: his songs and his voice.
During his performance at Esplanade’s “On The Waterfront” series, Rosli gave us another opportunity to hear his singing. He performed John Mayer’s “Gravity”, a song that holds deep significance to him.
November – The month my dad passed away. I played this song right after “Sorry I’m Late”… as a reminder to myself to ‘keep me where the light is’, and see the brighter side of things through all the darkness. – Rosli
